Free Fruit Trees for Odd Down!

Free Fruit Trees for Odd Down!

In November, we held a competition on our Facebook page, where BANES residents could tell us where they wanted us to give away fruit trees this year. This is always an enjoyable project, as we get to give away fruit trees to local residents to plant in their garden. Plus we don't have to dig any holes ;-)

As you can see from this graph, there was a clear winner - WELL DONE ODD DOWN!!!

Now we are welcoming Odd Down residents to come forward and request a free tree. We are focussing on fruit trees, but happy to order other native trees, if there is something else you fancy. You'll need to contact us before the end of December, and then we'll arrange a date where you can collect the tree from somewhere in Odd Down in January.

Please check out the Chew Valley Trees website, and let us know what you'd like. We'll fund up to £18 per household, which will usually mean a single fruit tree, maiden size.

We've already have numerous requests via Facebook, so you'll need to get in quick as we have limited funds. If any kind person would like to top-up our funds, you can make a gift-aid donation here.

Thanks all :-)
